Things to do

The beauty of Parkgate Farm is its location away from the noise and bustle found in many areas of the Lake District. Yet it is only 5 miles from Scafell Pike (England’s highest mountain) and 5 miles from our beautiful Cumbrian coast. The area has plenty of activities for all ages including wonderful walks from the farm, mountain biking and an abundance of wildlife to view. There is the La’al Ratty narrow gauge railway from Ravenglass to Eskdale and Muncaster Castle with its Owlery and beautiful gardens.

Or you can just sit and admire the ever changing view with a glass of something nice and a good book. Parkgate Farm is the perfect place to unwind away from the stress of modern life.
