Welcome to the Parkgate Farm Website
Parkgate is a small working farm in the Western Lake District, we have a few sheep, cattle and the largest herd of donkeys in the area! We have a camping field, several static caravans and also a cottage to let. During your stay you are welcome to come and visit the farm and meet the donkeys.
The campsite has stunning views of the Eskdale fells and beyond, we are a few minutes drive to Wasdale and Wastwater which was voted best view in the British Isles
The area has plenty for all ages, wonderful walks right from the farm, an abundance of wildlife to view, the La'al ratty narrow guage railway has a station only half a mile away and the magestic Muncaster Castle and Owlery is within walking distance.
